Murder Hut part 5
just part 5
Naoh got to the murder hut, and Bag Head was just walking around. Naoh snaps his fingers. Bag Head didn’t reply. Naoh walks over and slaps the back of Bag Head’s head.
“Did you already forget the signal. One means help, two means clean up, and three means keep. Get this through your thick skull,” Naoh yelled in Bag Head’s face. Bag Head stands up, towering over Naoh by about one and a half to two feet taller. Naoh raises his hand again to hit Bag Head, and Bag Head flinches. Naoh laughed, then Bag Head started laughing, and Naoh hit him hard. Bag Head crawled into a ball on the ground while Naoh just laughed.
“Alright, get up. Get up!” Naoh yelled, kicking Bag Head.
Bag Head stands up and starts helping Naoh move things around. Then a girl walked over, hugged Naoh, and looked at Bag Head.
“Why do you keep Alex looking like that? At least give him some real pants,” she said, looking back and forth between them.
“Eh, I could, but this is kind of our thing,” Naoh said, wrapping his arm around her.
“Alright, whatever. So where do you need me?” she asked, standing in front of Naoh.
“Well, I found another guy who said he would help out a bit. I think I am gonna partner you with him,” Naoh said, pushing her aside and walking over to a hay bail and standing on it.
“So it will just be the three of us, right?” she asked, sitting by his feet.
“No, Ady, for the last time, Ezra will be there. You know he’s been killing with me for longer than you’ve even known me!” Naoh yelled.
“Why are you partnered with that freak? He doesn’t even talk when I’m around, and he keeps recording shit,” Ady yelled, standing up.
“Well, he’s staying, you don’t have to, though,” Noah said, grabbing a box from Bag Head and placing it on the hay bail.
“What are you in love with this guy?” Ady asked annoyedly.
“If you want, we can plan a trip for just the two of us. Let’s say winter camping?” Naoh said as he shuffled through the box.
“Alright, fine. But it has to be soon, I am not gonna wait around on Ezra’s schedule,” Ady said, staring at Bag Head. The radio beeped, and I quickly grabbed it and silenced it. I looked up, Naoh had silenced Ady and Bag Head, and was listening in.
I look at the radio, “-and start heading back.”
Dang it, I missed most of the message.
I started heading back. When I could see my house, I opened my notebook and looked through the notes. It’s a lot of names, but I think it’s good. I closed the book and shoved my hand in my pocket and felt the tapes I stole earlier.
Lane’ll be happy about these.
I walked into the house, and Lane was sitting on the floor in front of the couch, writing on the map.
“Hey Lane, I got some interesting notes you might want to see,” I said, placing the notebook on the table.
Lane looks up and signs, “five.”
“What do you mean, five?” I asked while sitting on the couch near him.
Lane signed, “Five people. Naoh, Ezra, Bag Head, Ady, and some other guy. They are all working together to catch and kill the victims.”
“Alright, I think I heard them talking about the last guy,” I said, turning on the TV.
Lane looked up at me and signed, “Like, what? What did they say?”
“Nothing much, just that he’s gonna help them or something, and he’s working with Ady,” I said, turning the volume down. Lane nodded, then got back to writing. I reached into my pocket, grabbed the tapes, and tossed them on the table in front of Lane.
Lane looked up at me and signed, “What are these?”
“Found some of Ezra’s tapes,” I said, grabbing the rest and stacking them on the others.
Lane looked up and sighed, “How did you find these?”
“I went into Ezra’s house and talked with the roommate, then grabbed some tapes, James didn’t even notice,” I said smugly.
Lane signed, “Why?”
“What do you mean, why? I got you some of the tapes. You should be happy, now you have more information about the way they kill people,” I said, counting the tapes.
Lane signed, sitting on the couch near me, “You could have been harmed. Why didn’t you tell me you were gonna go? If James were a threat, then you would be dead.”
“You said he wasn’t a threat. I am just trusting your word. Is there a problem with that?” I asked, sorting the tapes by date. Lane looked down and sighed, “No.” Then Lane stood up and left.
